Founder, James Dodd

James Dodd is the founder of Tactical Switch Consultancy. With a long and established career in Sports Media, James has worked at some of the biggest sporting events in the world and with some of the biggest names in the business. From producing a FIFA World Cup final on location in Russia to interviewing the likes of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger minutes after victories, James knows how the media works.

A long career as the Live Football Producer at UK radio station talkSPORT enabled James to work with some of the best commentators and analysts in the game and helped mould him into the broadcaster he is today. Producing 100+ football matches a season and travelling the world working on live sporting events has given him a unique insight into the workings of the media and what does and doesn’t work for the audience.

A change of lifestyle and career then saw James move to Australia to pursue a career in Television and he subsequently became the senior Football reporter for Fox Sports News before then moving on to work as the Senior Content Producer at the A-Leagues.

Whether it’s interviewing, podcasting, producing or live reporting, James has done it and worked with industry leaders along the way. Now it’s time to pass on what he’s learnt to those who want to do the same.
